Alan Fisher

Born in Rising Star Texas Alan graduated from high school and currently lives in San Antonio with his wife (since1972) Carol. Alan is a Viet Nam veteran (Special Forces). He has two sons and two grandchildren. He has a degree from Texas State University and is a retired high school coach. He began writing songs 6 years ago and, with the encouragement of family and friends, has now recorded his first album “Family Man”. Alan’s musical influences are mostly from the country genre. However, upon listening to Alan’s songs you realize that they are not restricted to any one genre. “I take pride in writing songs that are different,” says Alan. “But most of all I take care to write songs that have something important to say. I just hope the people enjoy what they hear.” Oh, I think they will Alan, I think they will!
