Australian singer/songwriter and actress. Shireen Morris was born in Melbourne, Australia to Gujarati and Fijian-Indian parents. She began writing poetry at the age of 7. After completing a BA English Major at Melbourne Uni, Shireen moved to London to train professionally as an actress. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in acting, one year of intensive full time training, at East 15 Acting School in London. After graduating Shireen worked professionally in musical theatre and theatre in the UK for the next 2 years.
